Our Treatment Approaches

Our clinicians are trained and experienced in a wide variety of evidence-based therapies. The choice of therapy approach will be based on the issues and needs of each individual client.

Our most established therapeutic approaches are; 

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Narrative Therapy (NT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Mindfulness.

What To Expect At Your Session

Your psychologist will discuss their treatment plan with you during your first couple of sessions as this will be based on your individual needs and your presenting concerns. Usually therapy is structured so that you have regular 50 minute sessions with the psychologist. The frequency of sessions will depend on a number of factors, but is likely to be weekly or fortnightly at the start of your treatment, and then may become less regular over time depending on your progress through therapy.
